Why choose our course?
| Unlike any other course of its kind, it is tailored specifically to the needs of publishing/media staff - and each course is structured to suit the individual group. Courses also can be tailor-made, covering any of the topics listed below. |
"The quality & content of the course was excellent. The instructors were great..." Course delegate from OUP |
Courses are generally run on your own company premises (where possible), just in case you need to go back to work during the day. But we can arrange mixed Company/individuals courses where necessary. We try to make the courses interesting, and fun, with a mixture of theory and practical work, solving research queries and practising search techniques. Attendees are encouraged to bring in failed searches of their own so they can relate the course to their own day-to-day work.
Personal attention is guaranteed with a trainer/student ratio of 8:1 or 8:2 (2 trainers can be provided) and one-to-one sessions throughout enable attendees to ask questions and seek advice on individual queries and problems. A two week after-course helpdesk is available for all course attendees, plus ample, detailed handouts.
